Naked 2Urban Decay Palette Overview

Much like its big sister the "Naked Palette" this palette is full of beautiful neutrals, which can be worn for any occasion.  This palette retails for around £45.00, which is a little bit pricey but well worth it in the end as the colours are just amazing.

The first four colours of the palette are Foxy, Half Baked, Bootycall and Chopper. Foxy is a beautiful matte cream shade however the matte eyeshadows are the ones that least impressed me from the palette as i found that they just weren't that pigmented. On the plus side Foxy is a prefect brow bone highlight shade. Now Half Baked is my favourite colour of all time. It is the perfect gold, in my opinion. I like to place this colour in my inner tearduct to give my eyes a golden glow. Bootycall is a shimmery cream colour with pink undertones. This is also a lovely inner corner highlight but sometimes i find it to be a little too pale. The last colour of the four is Chopper, and this looks amazing with blue eyes. Its a copper colour that can easily be wore all over the lid.

The second four colours of the palette are Tease, Snakebite, Suspect and Pistol. The first colour Tease is not amoungst my favourites in this palette as it isn't very pigments (as seen from swatch) and an awkward colour for my skin tone. Snakebite on the other hand is a beautiful warm toned brown that looks lovely in the crease.  Suspect is a darker gold with grey undertones that i personal love. This colour looks great all over the lid. Pistol is a gunmetal grey colour that is perfect for a smoky eye, as it blends out effortlessly.

Now the final four colours in the palette are Verve, YDK, Busted and Blackout. Verve makes a wonderful combination with pistol to make a quick and easy smoky eye. YDK is my second favourite colour of the palette, it its a rose gold colour with slight purple undertone. However i find that it has a lot of fallout, as there are many large chunks of glitter that get all over my face. So i have to wear a cream base/shadow underneath, which is fine. The next colour Busted is a brown purpley shade which looks great in the crease. Finally Blackout is a matte, very pigmented black, in the picture it looks like it has shimmer but that is from the other shadow. It is perfect for setting liquid and gel eye liner. It is also very comparable to Carbon by m.a.c. To conclude this is a wonderful palette for everyone and everyday.
