Wet n Wild Mega Last Lipsticks

From the left to right; 967 Dollhouse Pink, 965 Cherry Picking, 969 24 Carrot Gold, 970 Purty Persimmon, 968 Pinkerbell, 910D Red Velvet and 966 Don't Blink Pink

If you are in need of expanding your lipstick collection, then these lipsticks are a great affordable way to do so. Their collection has every colour that you could imagine from bright pinks and oranges to dark vampy purples and burgundies. However these lipsticks come with a catch, they are not available to buy in UK stores but there are copious amounts of internet sites that sell them and ship internationally. The shipping does take quite a long time, but the lipsticks themselves are well worth the wait for.

The lipsticks are a matte formula, to many people this may be a put off. However they are a creamy texture and glide on. They are very similar to a MAC retro matte formula. With high pigmentation and a matte finish without leaving your lips feeling dry and in desperate need of Chapstick. Some of the colours in the range are also great dupes for many MAC lipsticks, they are just a different formulation, but are the same colour. For example Pinkerbell is the exact same lipstick as MAC Saint Germain. The price is incomparable to high end and high street lipsticks especially in addition to quality.

All in all these lipsticks are a great alternative to any other lipsticks on the market. If you are looking for bright colours at a high quality for a good price as you know you won't wear the lipstick often enough to justify the price of a high end lipstick. Then I would check these out.

Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquers

It seems that these new innovative lip products are everywhere at the moment. After the infamous YSL released their Rouge pur Couture Glossy Stain Lip Stains, loads of company have jumped on the idea and created their own take on these lip stains.

Currently I have been loving experimenting with different colours and textures of lip products. *hint hint* to future blogs. These Lip Lacquers have fulfilled my needs perfectly as they have the combined texture and shine of a gloss but have the staying power and pigmentation of a lipstick.

The range offers eight different shades, ranging from deep purples and reds to nudes and they retail for £4.99, but Boots usually have deal on so you may be able to get a cheaper price. I currently have five in my collection but will defiantly be purchasing more. In order from the top to the bottom the colours I have collected are; Galaxy, Apocoliptic, Stella, Nova and Eclipse. The swatches shown on my hand mirror this order from left to right.

My first impression of these Lip products is that they are extremely pigmented, you seriously don't need to dip the applicator into the tube more twice to get a strong lip. They are not sticky or overly glossy, they have the ability to be blotted down to more of a velvet finished. Their staying power is impeccable, after you eat or drink the glossy finish is removed but the colour still remains. However I have one negative, I feel that the applicator is slightly too narrow and pointed for my liking, I would have preferred more of a heart shaped wand like  the original, YSL design.

Needless to say these are terrific products and well worth a try, if you were ever interested in trying the YSL Rouge pur Couture Glossy Stain Lip Stains then these are a brilliant alternative for a much, much lower price.

As a side note, it seems I put this at the end of all by blogs, but I'am genuinely sorry for the lack of blogs. I have just not had much to write about, but I assure you I have many more in store, so keep a look out.

M.A.C "New York Apple"

Just another blog post from yours truly, to get back into the swing of things, I thought I would grace your computers with a double appearance of littlebitofbeautyy. When i went to Germany i pick up a few products. One of which was from M.A.C, a lipstick, "New York Apple" For my first M.A.C lipstick I wanted something that was a little bit special. So i decided to go with this colour. I haven't seen really anyone talk about this lipstick really anywhere, but it is such a lovely colour! It is a frost, which I didn't think that I would like as I personally prefer a cremesheen finish but i really loved the shade and the look it gave to my lips. It's a burgundy, red colour with a beautiful sheen. I like the contrast between my white skin and the deep red of the lipstick.

Nars Cosmetics Overview

Firstly I want to apologies for my recent absence, I ran out of things to write about and I fell out of love with blogging but I'm back. I have loads of ideas and products that I' am excited to tell you about! So lets get started.

For Christmas I was so happy to receive a couple of Nars products, the ever loved bronzer in the shade "Laguna" and cream blusher in the shade "Cactus Flower"

My first reaction to my first Nars Cosmetics products was that the packaging is absolutely beautiful. I defiantly believe that the price is responsible once you take in to consideration how well made the packaging is and how high quality the actual product is. The added touch of a mirror also adds to the high quality of the product.

From the swatches you can see that the bronzer isn't extremely dark and with a light hand can be used on the palest of skin tones. It has slight shimmer, but seems more like a sheen so it is still suitable contour. The Blush however is insanely pigmented! It is a bright redy, pinky, coarly shade, with subtle gold shimmers. These gold shimmers give a beautiful glow to the skin and the redy tones give the cheeks a  fresh rosey glow perfect for this time of year.

L'Occitane Rose Petal Hand Cream

L'Occitane is a well know essential body care brand across the globe. It is famous for its great products that give great results. Now for a little background about the Rose Petal Hand Cream. L'Occitane says that, "Shea Butter, Rose Petals Hand Cream is enriched with a high concentration of Shea Butter to help protect, nourish and soften the skin. Enhanced with a floral fragrance evoking sugar-coated rose petals, this richly textured cream leaves hands soft and smooth with no oily traces, and can be applied as often as needed." Which I completly agree with I have found that it leaves my hands feeling really moisterised for hours. It smells really lovely, and not how you would expect. The thought of it being a rose fragrance mad me think that it would smell quite granyish, but in fact it smells sweet and flora. The scent isn't two strong and doesn't last for very long which is a bit of a down fall. All in all I think that this is a great product and would definetly repurchase. For any enquires about any products by L'Occitane check out their website.
